Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Clutch Line collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to https://clutchline.io and the Discord alerts it sends. See also our Terms of Service.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address, and a securely hashed password if you sign up with email.
• Discord sign-in: if you use "Continue with Discord", your Discord user ID, username and verified email address. We don't get your Discord password or messages.
• Your settings and alerts: the alerts you create, your milestone filters, the Discord webhook URLs you add, and a history of the alerts sent to you.
• Billing: your plan and subscription status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we receive a customer reference and subscription status, never your full card number.
• Cookies: one essential cookie that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one during Discord sign-in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To run your account, send your alerts, process subscriptions, provide support, keep the service secure, and send essential account emails (like password resets). We don't sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to operate Clutch Line, under their own privacy terms:

• Render (website, database and alert hosting)
• Stripe (payments)
• Discord (sign-in, and delivering alerts to the webhooks you provide)
• Resend (account emails such as password resets)

These providers may store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, alerts and alert history, except records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons (for example, Stripe's payment records).

Your choices and rights

You can update your name, password, webhooks and alerts in Settings at any time. To access, correct or delete your personal information, or to ask a privacy question, email support@clutchline.io. We'll respond within 30 days.

Security

Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Changes

We'll post any changes to this policy here with a new date, and tell you about significant changes by email or on the site.
